unknown pair unknown pair
unknown pair unknown pair

unknown metal pieces, left and right pair, unknown manufacturer;
Markings inside: R #1 MBL,   L #2 MBL
Oddly, there are no holes to accept a screw or bolt.
Dad had these items in the basement as far back as I can remember;
they could be older than 1960.

Identifed wooden item

It is an old, simple puzzle box, probably from Germany, age unknown.
We did not know how to open it;
turns out that the trick for opening it is to hold it upside down !
I forgot to measure this or put a ruler in the photo,
it is less than 4 inches long, about 1 inch wide.

The top piece is not broken, it rotates about that round pin.
The top piece then slides back less than 1mm,
and something tiny rattles inside.
If you know anymore about it, the information would be appreciated.
